Hello! My name is Wendy Lieb. I am the Certified School Nurse at Frankstown. This will be my ninth year at HASD. I obtained my Diploma in Nursing at Conemaugh School of Nursing and my Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. I have also completed my Certification as a School Nurse through Slippery Rock University. I am currently pursuing my master's degree in Nursing. My experience has been in the Behavioral Health Department at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital. While there, I had the privilege of working on each of the Child/Adolescent, Adult, Geropsychiatry, and Detoxification units. I also have experience as an Emergency Medical Technician.
I am available in the Health Office daily to care for the children/staff who become ill or injured, administer daily medications, administer emergency medications, provide health screenings which include: height/weight, scoliosis, vision, and hearing. I maintain student health records, monitor state-required immunizations, as well as state-mandated physical/dental exams. I am also a member of our Student Assistance Program (SAP).
I have children of my own, and have always wanted more! I feel that I am truly blessed to be a part of the Hollidaysburg Area School District family!
