Hello! My name is Wendy Lieb. I am your Certified School Nurse at Frankstown Elementary.
I obtained my Diploma in Nursing at Conemaugh School of Nursing and my Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. I have also completed my Certification as a School Nurse through Slippery Rock University. My experience has been in the Behavioral Health Department at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital. My experience there was in Mental Health - Child/Adolescent, Adult, Geropsychiatry, and Detoxification units. I also have experience as an Emergency Medical Technician.
I am available in the Health Office daily to care for the children/staff who become ill or injured, administer daily medications, administer emergency medications, provide health screenings which include: height/weight, scoliosis, vision, and hearing. I maintain student health records, monitor state-required immunizations, as well as state-mandated physical/dental exams. I am also a member of our Elementary Student Assistance Program (ESAP).
I have grown children of my own, and have always wanted more! I feel that I am truly blessed to be a part of the Frankstown family!
